MSX Hub is developed and maintained by Benjamin Zachey as an independent personal project. The service is designed to let users manage their Media Station X setups in a simple and private way by storing metadata and links to media entries. No actual media files are uploaded or stored on MSX Hub servers.

2. Data Collected

MSX Hub collects and stores only the information required for registration and access management:

• Name – to identify your account.
• Email address – to sign in and receive essential notifications (e.g., password reset).
• Password (encrypted) – securely stored using industry-standard hashing.
• Media metadata – titles, descriptions, thumbnails, links, playlists, and web app URLs provided by the user for management within MSX Hub.

No analytics, tracking, or advertising tools are used. The website does not use cookies beyond what is technically necessary for authentication.

3. Premium Access Payments

Payments for Premium Access are processed securely through PayPal. MSX Hub itself does not store or process any sensitive payment information. Limited transaction data may be stored for verification purposes. PayPal may collect data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

4. Data Usage

The information you provide is used solely to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide access to MSX Hub features and Premium tools.
• Store and manage metadata and links for your media entries.
• Send essential account-related emails (such as password reset or access confirmation).

No personal data is shared, sold, or otherwise disclosed to third parties, except when required by law.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Account data and associated metadata are retained for as long as your account remains active. Users can delete their account at any time using the account deletion option in the MSX Hub interface. Upon deletion, all personal data and media metadata will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone. Any remaining Premium Access time will not be refunded.

6. Security

All personal data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored using secure, one-way hashing algorithms. Reasonable measures are taken to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

7. Children's Privacy

MSX Hub is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. By using the service, users confirm that they meet this minimum age requirement. No data is knowingly collected from minors. If you believe that a minor has registered, please contact support@msxhub.de for immediate removal.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect service improvements or legal changes. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
